Oh, and the past is living off me, how inconsiderate.

I swear that my deceased Sony Ericsson W800i is the cause behind the decline in the entertainment value of this blog. A picture speaks a thousand words doesn't it? Considering how many pictures I use to upload into one entry. That's many many words.

But fret not. I'm teetering on the verge of getting a camera phone. I'm counting down to ORD. After all most of the major events are gone.. I'm left with SAF Day parade and NDP. As for that course in Thailand..

Uh.. I foresee an unfortunate accident in the pipelines.

So having come back from Taiwan, I'm thrilled to be back in Singapore.

It's thrilling to be drenched in my perspiration indeed but that's not the best yet. Now we all know that Singapore is purported to be a very very safe island. Earthquakes barely tickle us, tsunamis hardly make a splash at us, forest fires don't ignite here. At this moment, we can add something else to the list - stable beyond what Physics can comprehend.

Heck, practically the whole island all swamped down to the East to check out Tampines 1 and yet by some miracle, the island hasn't tipped over. Today's the 7th day of Tampines 1's opening and I still haven't step into Uniqlo yet due to my disdain for queuing up.

Yes. Queuing up. To get into an apparel store. Hello Kitty just got pwn-ed. 

Damn, this is where the camera phones can come in useful. I could show you pictures. The queue is crazy. You would have thought that we're a reforming nudist colony. 

Speaking of which, anyone interested in shopping at Topman/Topshop? I got my eye on a $33 top.. so I need about $117 more to apply for a Fashion Forward card!

Oh and I need to go to Queensway to get running shoes. Maybe tights for the Adidas Sundown Marathon? Oh, and definitely slippers. My slippers keep getting stolen from my doorstep ):

Had a farewell dinner with Colin last Thursday with Peggy at Cafe Cartel. They bought Honey Ribs and redeemed a gift - a soft toy that goes by the name of PiggyBee. On the receipt though, it was reflected as PeggyBee..

Saturday was awesome. Haven't had a full day (12 pm to 11 pm!!) of fun for quite a while. Met Sally, Gwen and Shuuji at White Sands to bring Sally's sec 1 class to Pasir Ris Park for Sally's farewell party. Think the person organising it was this really cute boy called Alex. He's damn tiny and..

Sigh.. I'm too lazy to do a blow by blow recount of what happened. Neither am I in the mood. Heh.. Had my own farewell dinner last night at the airport (=.=) with Angela, Ken, Shuuji and Sally.

And I'm returning tonight for my all-expenses paid trip to Taiwan. As always, I'm down with preflight blues..

Passed Jasmine her birthday gift today. It was seriously overdue! Hurhur, her birthday is on the 5th of November. Take a look at the date above this post and do your own calculation =x

After I gave Jasmine her present, it was only around 2.15 p.m, had 1 hour to burn before meeting Davis at Bedok Interchange to go to Mr Eric's house. Thus I decided to take 17 from Pasir Ris Interchange.

Bad mistake.

The darn bus took an hour to reach Bedok Interchange. I went from being early to being relatively late =.= .. a piece of advice here, don't take buses with routes that you're unfamiliar with. So anyway, in the end, Davis, Lewis, Jun Wei, Jin Quan, Alan and I were gathered at the interchange and we set off to Mr Eric's house.

His daughters weren't home. Bummer! ): Oh and yeah, daughters, just in case you didn't know, he had another girl (:

In case you forgot how she looks like (:

Met with the seniors, got a bit confused about our own status.. (We're J4s now!!) and met the J2s of the MJ Rock Climbing Club. Yeah, MJC has rock climbing now and Mr Eric defected there from ODAC.

Chatted for a bit, doing some quick catching up before launching into Blackjack with Mr Eric as the banker. I started with a $1 dollar coin! At one point of time I had $20 dollars worth of coins but I was feeling reaaally charitable (seriously!) so I took loads of unnecessary risks and ended up with $1.

Not a net profit nor loss. Just a nice little net.. erm.. zero.

Then at around 6, my family came and picked me up cause we had a family dinner at Chinatown. An extremely boring and expensive affair. Never had a dinner that cost $1710 before =.= Well $1710 inclusive of all the taxes, charges, blackmail yada yada yada

The meal itself cost about $1400++ for 10 people. Still expensive though =x Reached home early, felt bored.

Oops, correction. I'm still bored ):

Anyway, meeting Sally & co. tomorrow for a fishy lunch (:
